E-paper reflects ambient lights rather than emitting its own light, making it readable under direct sunlight without image fading.
Its wider viewing angle and stable image due to not having to constantly refresh the screen makes it more comfortable to read than conventional displays.
E-paper is inexpensive, uses low energy, portable and reusable technology.
Commercial applications include e-book readers, electronic pricing labels in retail shops, digital signage, bus/train timetables and electronic billboards.
These 10 x 2 character E-Paper Displays are available in black on white and white on black configuration.
